This week’s list of three new releases includes a futuristic sci-fi, a deep dive into metaphysics, and another book that got me by its title alone.
First up…
Decahedron
by Dan Sodano
Centuries into the future, a ten-sided object appears in the universe. Humans prepare to fight it, but it came here to judge.
What you’ll find inside: Science, adventure, problem solving.
The Existence Legacy
by Ed Ramsey
A reimagining of the origin of consciousness, time, and physical reality dressed up as a sci-fi novel.
What you’ll find inside: Philosophy, cosmic drama, something different.
Stinkletoes
by G.L. Avery
It’s called Stinkletoes. I gotta say, that’s pretty much all I needed, but here’s a bit more: it’s a story about a monster who chooses mercy, and the small, stubborn souls who inherit the earth when the powerful destroy it.
What you’ll find inside: A soft-hearted troll, Norse mythology, chaos and comedy.
And there you have it!
That rounds out our random list of new releases to read if you love stories that are a little different. But if you burn through all of these this weekend and find yourself wanting another great adventure with science, metaphysical undertones, and a curious title, check out The Metanaut.
